a visit to hodge podge farm

maybe you’ve already seen this, if you follow me elsewhere, but for those who only hang with me here on the blog, here’s a little treat i don’t want you to miss: it’s a video visit with me right here at the farm! this is my “get to know Cal Patch” teacher profile video for my online classes over at creativebug. i’ve never starred in a film before, so i’m just a little bit attached to it! the quality of these little films is what sold me on choosing to work with the creativebug team, and i think you’ll see what i mean when you watch.

there’s so much cool stuff going on over there! new teachers and classes are getting added weekly. what have you watched? alabama chanin? check. liesl gibson? check. heather ross? check. (yes, i’m a little biased toward the sewing vids for the moment…) so many more that i can’t wait to see! i’ve got six classes posted there now, two each in patternmaking, sewing and crochet. and new this week, discounts if you sign up for multiple months at once! the flat rate gets you ALL the classes you can watch, as many times as you like! impossible not to get your money’s worth with that deal!

  7. What a lovely video! Really captures you (at least as you have presented yourself on this blog). Very nicely produced – I loved the image of the fabric in the sky toward the end. Thanks for promoting crochet, too. You “starred” in another “film” — the Threadbanger video that helped me learn how to crochet a neckline into a T-shirt…

  8. oh you’re right, i did star in another film; forgot about that one ;n) promoting crochet is my fave cause. glad you learned from that video! and thanks for the nice words…
