for the hookers

if you follow me on ravelry, twitter or facebook, this may not be news to you, but i haven’t yet announced it here that i have self-published my first two crochet patterns, Coral Cloche and Wingfeathers Shawl. this is something i’ve been wanting to do for a lo-o-ong time, and it feels so good to finally be doing it! a third pattern is well under way, and many more are to come. the world needs more *good crochet* patterns, don’t you agree?

i owe much credit, for supplying me with her splendidly inspiring yarns to play with (and for giving me a nudge or two) to the queen of color, jill draper. the cloche is designed for her Hudson (worsted), and the shawl for her Splendor (sock). the kettle-dyed grey sample above is Splendor in Mourning Dove, and the multicolored one in the top photo is Kureyon Sock.

so you can find these pretties in my ravelry store, and– as of today– in my etsy shop too. so get hookin’! it thrills me endlessly to see your versions, so please do show them off!
