i have a habit of hinting about things i plan to elaborate on here on the blog, and then forgetting to go back and do so. well, for once i am following through: the secret tote project has gone public and above are some of my faves (+ one of mine). clay, wood & cotton asked five of their favorite designers to decorate a handful of eco-friendly tote bags and i was happy to oblige with some doily-stencil-and-embroidered one-of-a-kind works. also pictured are bags from cakehouse, knit knit, home sweet, alison tauber, and fisk & fern. get ’em while they last!
