sewing for kids class

next saturday, may 22, i’ll be teaching a new sewing class at lena corwin’s studio in brooklyn. we will be using the swingset tunic and skirt pattern from the painfully adorable oliver + s. i’ve been wanting to try one of their patterns for ages, but i don’t do a whole lot of sewing for the little ones. i made this outfit for my little friend Hattie, and it went together beautifully. we hung out yesterday and got to have a little photo shoot. i have a new respect for bloggers who photograph babies and kids now; it was certainly not easy to get this shot!

there are still spaces left in the class, so please join us if you can… it goes from 11-4 with a delicious ‘lena-made’ lunch served around 1.
