you say goodbye, and i say “hello”

hello! that title may sound dramatic (i couldn’t resist the opportunity to use a Beatles’ song as a post title) but this is really just a quick administrative message to say that, if you haven’t noticed, i’ve switched out my old, too-busy website for a cleaner, fresher version, with a sparkly new logo designed by my pal Nicole Pajor Moore! i love it so much, especially those little sideways patch pockets that represent the letter A in my name…

i also changed the URL to calpatch.com, and am letting go of hodgepodgefarm.net. SO if you follow me in a blog reader or similar service, you’ll need to change the web address, or at some point we’ll lose touch and you’ll never hear from me again! Or, if you use Bloglovin’ like i do, follow me that way.

which also reminds me, now’s a good time (if you haven’t yet) to subscribe to my NEW newsletter (find it at the bottom of this page) so we will always stay connected. i’ve only sent one so far, and i aim for it to be monthly at the most. the next one goes out this week!

all of this also means that i’ve retired my sweet old embroidered banner. i still use it as a sample when i teach embroidery classes, but its job welcoming readers to my site is done. it’s having a lovely retirement, drinking lots of tea in a rocking chair and crocheting by the woodstove…
