back to school!

i traditionally take the month of August off from teaching; it’s a slow month anyway and allows me to regroup for beginning a new *school* year. and then i somehow booked myself for four craft fairs in September, so we are fast forwarding ahead to October to really start the new season of classes… and a quick count tells me i’m teaching at least TEN in October! yowza, how do i let these things happen?

as usual, all of my Hudson Valley classes are posted over at Double Knot Studio. and Jill‘s got some juicy knitting classes going on so be sure to inspect those too.

and for you city peeps, you’ll continue to find all of the details on my NYC classes right here. i’m adding a ‘classes’ tab above so you’ll always have my teaching schedule at your fingertips without having to wade through blog posts.

in the meantime, before i leave for Squam tomorrow, i wanted to tell you about one more class that i am teaching this month, at Wing & Clover in Rhinebeck:

Beginner Sewing: Simple Tote Bag

Learn how to sew and make a useful tote bag with a lining and pocket in this 3-week class. We will cover how to use the machine, cutting from a pattern, sewing seams, pockets and straps. Note: Students must bring their own machine to class.

Thursdays, September 23, 30 and October 7, 6:00-8:00pm   $100 + supplies

are there any classes you think i should teach? let me know in the comments!
