ode to the farm

i am always a fan of the daily etsy finds, but one of this weekend’s collections really hit home for me: an ode to the farm. i’ve been a farm groupie since i was a kid, and now that i’m making my own mini one, i’m verging on farm-obsessed! i especially love the milk bottles by ceramicist allyssa ettinger (who by the way got my vote for the ceramics category in the poppies; i love her ‘knitware’ pieces too). and the crocheted mama sow is the sweetest and must be so soft since it’s made from malabrigo (note: piglets are available)! honeyandjam‘s photos evoke the perfect farm-y mood; this one speaks to me too since tea is my constant sidekick. and i just want to kiss that pink nose of daisy! if you’re a farm fan be sure to check out lonny‘s vegetable photos as well.

it fascinates me that you can even buy a chicken coop on etsy; a few weeks ago jill turned me onto these (made in BROOKLYN!) which are pretty awesome.
