books!

i’m in the club! one of the perks i have long coveted about being a published author is that we get copies of books to review on our blogs. and i finally got my first batch! thrilling. thanks to the kind peeps at my publisher, Potter Craft! (you might want to sign up for their newsletter about the crafty book world, CrafterNews; it’s full of reviews and free projects). i hand-selected these, and from what i can see so far, they are all excellent. i will begin reviewing in earnest very soon, but first i need some ‘alone time’ with each individual book…

probably the one i am MOST excited about is the newest in the Built by Wendy series, DRESSES! very timely because i feel like all i want to wear this spring/summer is dresses (i used to be such a skirt girl)! i only have a ‘proof’ so my paws haven’t actually fondled the patterns yet, but i am supposed to get a real copy soon. the release date is february 9th, that’s next tuesday!
