later this month i’ll be teaching two brand new workshops in brooklyn. the first is a hat-making workshop at lena’s studio in fort greene, in which you’ll make your own pattern for one of my signature *hodge podge* sunhats, then sew one up for yourself! it’ll be a nice introduction to patternmaking, as well as a quick and simple sewing project.

Learn to make a hat for yourself and all of your friends and family! You will draft your own pattern for a reversible sun hat, and then stitch one up in this all-in-one workshop! This project is a perfect stash-buster. Please have at least beginner level sewing skills (i.e. this is not the first time using a sewing machine). You can bring your own machine or use one of ours for a $10 fee.
