as usual, later this month i’ll be heading down to brooklyn to teach a few classes. i’ll post the rest tomorrow, but here are the deets for the beginner sewing class i’m doing at lena’s in fort greene:
JUNE BEGINNER SEWING WITH CAL PATCH
if you want to learn sewing from the very beginning, this one-day workshop is perfect. we’ll learn the nuts and bolts, like threading your machine, good sewing practices, and how to sew a simple seam. then you will cut from a pattern and begin sewing your first project, a lined tote bag with a pocket! machines available for students to use (for an extra charge of $10), or you can bring your own. (vegetarian lunch included)
