2024 teaching schedule is up!

at last, i’ve posted my 2024 teaching schedule!

i meant to get it all up sooner, but for various reasons i am late. i always do recommend subscribing to the newsletters of the venues you are interested in, as they tend to be better about keeping you informed than i am! and those who get my own newsletter find out about gems like my year-long HACK CLUB class first.

many classes are already underway, and several are already sold out, so if you see something you are interested in, grab yourself a spot while they are available!

highlights (that aren’t sold out as of posting) include 4 workshops in Rockland, Maine at my pal Katherine Ferrier’s studio (more on those in my next post, but they are coming up QUICK in early May!), not one but TWO weeks of the super fun summer-camp-for-textile-lovers Medomak Fiberarts Retreat (where i’m teaching the applique pouch you see above!), a mending workshop with my friend Sara Pomegranite, down at Orange Coffee Art Music in Delaware Water Gap, PA, Befriend Your Sewing Machine and Mending at the new local(ish) venue Sullivan Public, a 2-day rag rug and vessel class and a 4-day wardrobe class (T-shirt and Leggings edition) at Snow Farm, individual garment classes (such as Clone It!) throughout the year at my fave local fabric shop Beetle & Fred in Beacon, NY, and another virtual Deluxe Hand Sew A Shirt class in the Fall.

in other news, you may have heard i got pushed out of my beloved studio in the next town over, due to classic gentrification rent hiking. but we are building a new studio, this one here on our property so no rent increases! i’m not sure yet when i’ll be moving in (it’s farther along than in this photo, but there are still many steps to go) but i’ll be hosting a few more local and virtual classes once i get settled. and private lessons too!
