here we are

greetings from snowy Accord, NY!

and yep, it’s a whole new year! though it’s a little hard to get too excited, am i right?

how are you? i’m doing pretty well. i know i’ve been quiet, so before this first month of 2021 ends, i thought i’d better check in with an update. i’m typically in deep hibernation mode at this time of year, but plans are incubating. i do have the beginnings of my 2021 teaching schedule posted; everything will be virtual for the first half of the year, and then i am tentatively booking some in-person events for summer and beyond, always with careful consideration of current CDC guidelines and flexible cancellation policies.

i’m very much looking forward to finally teaching at Snow Farm in MA in June, after having to cancel last year. and we’re finalizing details for two versions of my week-long workshop at Harrisville Designs in NH. fingers are crossed that i’ll be returning to Maine this summer too! stay tuned for more events as they get organized.

on the virtual front, i’ve been teaching monthly with Stitches Events, and the next round are coming up very soon: February 5-7! i’m offering three classes: Crochet Rag Rug or Bag, Custom Draft and Sew Leggings, and Pattern Drafting for Knitters, Crocheters, Weavers and Sewists. find all the details here.

i’m also working on a series of virtual workshops run solely by myself, including the year-long Make Your Own Wardrobe which debuted in 2020. i’ll be announcing those in the coming weeks, as well as private virtual lessons too. let me know if you have any requests!
