pandemic love thread

um. wow.

since i last posted, about 3 weeks ago, a lot has changed. and i don’t even have to tell you anything, because… YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT IT.

i could finish the sentence “never would i have thought…” in so many ways since then. i’d be sewing face masks to help minimize the spread of a virus? virtually the whole world would come to a standstill? no one would be allowed to leave their house or see their friends?

but i’m not here to talk about any of that stuff. because, we all know it already. i’d rather talk about all the ***GOOD STUFF***. because there’s been a lot of that too! sure, we can’t leave the house, but who’d have thunk there would be operas, concerts, dance parties, yoga classes, ukulele jams, sing-alongs and so much more happening right in your own home?

so, starting tomorrow, i’m gonna post ONE COOL THING each day several times a week that’s happening, until this whole self-quarantine/shelter-in-place/PAUSE/social-distancing business is OVER. i’ve been seeing so much art and beauty and love and kindness, and i want to share it with all of you… because we all need a little more brightness right now.
